Just a 40 minute drive from Mason, Santa Monica beach is one of the main hotspots for students from schools in and around Mason Town. Most students that gather here or from either Mason or Berkeley, purely due to the sheer amount of students the school holds. And who knows, maybe you'll make some new friends (whoever said you had to go to the same school lied).

Cheung sat on the beach in the middle of the sand, looking out into the water as the sun started to set. He had been there all day, watching as people went by and relaxing. How close it was to summer was starting to get to him- he really couldn't wait to visit home for the summer as it'd been almost 7 months and as much as he loved the States he was getting horribly homesick.

Ella walked down the beach, sliding off her flip flops and picking them up so that her feet sank in the sand with every step. Summer was setting in, and the brighter evenings were already making her happier. She looked around and saw a shock of blonde hair, and guessed it was Cheung. She knew his hair was dyed.
"Thanks for coming." She says, standing behind him with the sand warm between her toes.

"It's okay. What's up?" He asked, patting the spacw in the sand next to him.

Ella sat her self beside Cheung, pushing her hair behind her ears and sighing.
"I... I just wanted to know... if..." Ella mumbled, biting her lip and then shaking her head, "I just wanted to know, well, if I mean anything to you... Like, I'm not just some girl you made out with..."

Cheung sighed and looked at Ella and then away.
"Well," He said, looking at her again, "It's just..."
Cheung huffs quietly and looks away again. He knew he probably looked weird now.
"I can't..." He started again, looking down at the sand and then turning to properly look at Ella and putting one hand on her cheek, drawing her face closer and placing his lips on hers as she had done on the camping trip.

Ella was starting to lose hope as Cheung stumbled on his words and almost jumped back in shock when he kissed her, but kissed him back anyways. Just as she remembered it- he was the best kisser in the world.

Cheung kissed her for a good minute before pulling away and laughing lightly.
"My mom's not going to be happy." He said with a shrug, lifting up his arm and putting it over her shoulder. "We should go on a walk."

Ella pushed herself up from the sand and held out her hand for Cheung.
"We should." She says with a smile. Ella had heard Cheung arguing for hours in Mandarin with his mother on the camping trip and wondered what was up with her- had she not been happy about Cheung coming to the US? Ella's mother could hardly contain her excitement when her dad said he'd house her with the rest of the Hope clan. Every parent was different, she guessed.

Destiny smiled as she felt the sand between her toes. She ran her fingers through her hair and looked around for Seok. Late as always. She sighed and took a few pictures for her tumblr.

Seok ran down the promenade and through the sand, his sneakers filling with cold sand with each step. He looked around for Destiny and spotted her taking some pictures.
"Jagiya..." He breathed as he came up next to her. "I made it."

"Well, I broke my phone. They had to give me a replacement." He says, holding up a phone you could get from just about any ten dollar store. "The keyboard is for English people."
Seok laughs lightly and shrugs.
"But I don't mind. I get to see you."
