Cheung took Ella's hand and pulled himself up, sliding his fingers between hers and starting to walk down the sand.
"My mom isn't too nice on the whole interracial thing. She wants me to date only Chinese girls." He explains, sighing slightly. "But whatever. It's not her choice, right?"

Cheung laughed as she mentioned his hair and shrugged.
"I was bored. My friend bleaches his hair so he had some spare and let me use it. I don't really like it." He said, looking up as a lock of blonde hair fell over his eyes. He deperately wanted to go back to his old chocolate brown.

Ella had noticed Destiny was on the beach with Seok and didn't want to ruin it by being here, and Cheung's hair was the perfect excuse to get out of here. She held his hand tightly and started running up the beach to the promenade where they'd be able to buy some dye.
"Run run run run run run run!" She chants.
