Seoul Tanz Station 서울탄츠스테이션무용학원
The next few days will be spent in the Tanz Station, a dance/drama studio in Seoul. Students will take part in group activities to boost confidence, especially when performing, and also to practice working as a team. Don't come in thinking of school drama classes- no Shakespeare here! Sessions are designed to be fun and educational. Coaches speak both English and Korean, and so will repeat their instructions in both languages. On the final day, you will put on a performance for the teachers!
The class will also meet with the Korean students from Mason's link school. They have been learning English at school. The students will come to America (a bit like a short language exchange trip) and travel around with the students doing various activities. The Korea trip will also give the Korean students an idea of what Mason is like, and help them decide if they want to go on the exchange programme in the following year (Mason is refurbishing its boarding facilities currently). So have fun, make friends and speak some Korean!

Seok had been told that today would be a good chance to speak English to native speakers, and with that in mind, he walked through the doors of the Tanz Station dance studio with the nerves of a kid on his first day of school. He was scared that he'd mess something up, or that the American kids wouldn't want to talk to him.
He didn't actually know where everyone was supposed to meet, so he sat in a chair in a sort of waiting room area that he found, realising he was the first here.

Jae had wanted to walk with Jongin, but waiting for him wasn't really an option if he wanted Pepero, which he did. And so he had left the hotel without him, walking down to the store and picking out his favourite flavour of Pepero. It had been a while since he had just been able to walk out and get himself some Pepero, and now he remembered what real Korean food tasted like he really didn't want to leave.
He had found his way to the studio, which the teachers had all given them a marked map to the previous evening, and opened the door, looking around and wondering just where to go. He found a lounge with a boy around his age sat in it, and decided it was probably his best bet.
"Annyeong," Jae said with a friendly smile and a little bow, sitting down near the other guy. He assumed he was from the Korean school they were linked with, but he really had no clue.

Seok looked up at the boy, not really recognising the face or the voice. He felt confused. Was he from Mason?
"Annyeonghaseyo... Mason?" He said, raising an eyebrow. The kid looked Korean, but who knew.

"Yeah, you can speak to me in Korean if you want, though." He replied in his native language with a smile. He knew the guy was probably scared out of his mind to speak English, but considering Korean was probably easier for the both of them he may as well offer. "I'm Lee Jaehyun, but you can call me Jae."

"Seok." Seok said with a smile, figuring he must be an exchange student or something. He sighed in relief when the boy offered to speak in Korean and nodded. "You're Korean, right?"

Jae nodded rather enthusiastically. He glanced in the direction that he came from, wondering when everyone else would find their way here.
"Yeah, I moved to America 2 years ago. I'm actually from Seoul." He confirmed, chewing on his inner cheek. "Are you thinking of exchanging?"

"I'd really like to." He tells him with a shrug. He had been told briefly what they'd be doing today, and it excited him a little more now he knew at least one of the, well, foreign (was he even classed as foreign? I mean, he was from Seoul...) students. One of the Mason students. Today didn't seem like it was going to be too bad now.

Jae nodded, smiling.
"Yeah, it would be awesome if you did." He said, biting on his lip and looking at a woman as she walked through the lounge that they sat in. She approached the boys and directed them down the hall, where she said the rest of the students would be.
"We probably look like we came in really late or something now."

Seok chuckled and shrugged, walking down the hall.
"I don't mind. So long as we're in the right place in the end." He said, pushing the door open to a studio and looking around at the people gathered there. Many of them were his friends from school, and he smiled at them as he joined them on the floor. He gestured for Jae to sit with him.

Jae sat with Seok, guessing the people with them were his friends and waving at them, saying hello. He wondered when they were going to start dancing, as he was really excited to dance again. He had yet to find the studios at Mason.
He looked up as the coaches started explaining what to do, splitting them into groups and then explaining about other performances later. He smiled as he realised he was in a group with Seok and Jongin.

Jongin moved into the group with Jae and smiled at him awkwardly. He hadn't talked to him much yesterday evening, and he sort of missed their odd conversations. Jaehyun was practically his best friend.
He gave a little wave to the rest of the group, looking at a Korean boy in the group whom he had not yet met. He was the only one of them that didn't go to Mason.
"Hey, I'm Jongin." He said in Korean, figuring it was only polite to do so. He wanted to get into dance practice as soon as possible, especially because it wasn't long until lunch.

Jae gave a little wave to Jongin and looked at the dance they were going to learn. It didn't look too hard, so he wasn't worried.

"I'm Seok." He replied, smiling at Jongin. "I should probably be practicing my English."
Seok looked over Jae's shoulder, looking at the dance and grinning. He liked the song they were dancing to, and was familiar with the dance already.
"Do you want to decide who is who?" He asked, finally speaking in English.

Jongin nodded. The other group had moved into the room next to them, so he walked over to the computer that was hooked up to the large screen and set it up. The coach must have gone for a coffee or something, because they definitely weren't here.
"Everyone just pick a starting place, and then mirror whoever you're in line with." He said, changing the video speed so it was a little slower and standing in the center.
