Jae smiled warmly at Nini and gave her a little wave.
"Hi." He said, sitting on the other side of her but not too close. He looked at Jongin's expression and nodded, mumbling in Korean. "We need to go shopping."

Nini grins back at her older sibling and jumps off of the couch, already wearing shoes and sufficient enough coverage considering the weather in California.
"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" She says, running towards the door.

Jae laughed as she ran to the door and shrugged at Jongin.
"She's adorable." He said, pushing himself up from the comfort of the couch and walking over to where he had entered just short of ten minutes ago.

Jae carries a large cardboard box through Jongin's door and places it down by the door to his bedroom, going back out in the hallway to bring in some more stuff. He and Jongin had spent a lot of money- they were both going to be broke until the end of the month now.
"I'll start building the bed and you put away the food." He tells Jongin down the hall, before walking over to the large box he'd brought in and starting to unpack it.

Jongin nods at Jae and lets go of Nini's hand after helping her bring a bag of food upstairs to his apartment. He was carrying around four bags himself, but he didn't mind. He put them all on the kitchenette worktop and took the one Nini had and started to take everything out.
"I'm so sorry, Jae. I owe you like 200 bucks." He says, sighing.

Jae shakes his head as he flicks through the instructions to putting the bed from inside the box together.
"Shut up. You don't owe me anything." He says, not even looking up from the booklet. He didn't care about the money he'd just spent. He'd do that for Jongin.

Jongin looks at Jae as he slams the booklet down and bites the insides of his cheeks.
"Whatever." He says, mumbling to himself that he'd still pay him back. Once all the bags were empty and sorted into piles, Jongin started opening cupboards and stacking things neatly in the places they went. Soon, all the cupboards and the fridge were full of food and drink, and so Jongin made his way over to Jae to help him with the bed.

Jae kneels down as Jongin gives up and goes back to work on the little bed, starting to assemble the main frame. As Jongin comes over to help him, he knocks one of the bed's legs into place.
"Can you pass me that long, white piece over there?" He asks him, pointing to another of the legs across the floor.

"Yeah, I got it." Jongin says with a nod, standing up and walking over to grab the leg. As he is making his way back over to Jae, he trips on a loose piece of the frame and lands on Jae like Jae had landed on him in the Tanz Station games around a month ago.

Jae falls back so that they are both led down with each other and looks at Jongin, who had just fallen on him. He smiles.
"Oh, hi." He says, laughing lightly. "So this is what that felt like."
