The Over-21s club in Mason. Shitty bouncers. You'll find the high schoolers by the creeps on the left side of the bar. The rich kids sit in the Sono Lounge on the expensive seats with overly cheap drinks in their hands. And everyone else is a dancefloor drag.

Jae liked to pretend he was one of the rich kids in his new school as nobody really knew his background, apart from maybe his fading accent, and so had paid his way into the Sono Lounge and sat there with a vodka martini in his hand.

After deciding that I need a drink, I head over to the bar and get myself one. I look at it with so much enthusiasm as it arrives before me. I take the glass up to my lips as I look around, and press them on the edge before taking a sip. I spot some tall guy who isn't standing too far from me and give him a brief smile.
