I step into the mall, after parking my car and slipping the keys into my bag, with my shades on. I walk into Victoria's Secret, and take a look around. As I'm walking around I spot a young couple that reminds me a lot of Leo and I back in the day..What happened to us? To him? I feel like an emotionally abused wife, like he has caged me in. I came out here to start again, not like this though. I'm probably going to stay here for a while, I hope he calms down at home.

Aspen wanders through the Victoria's Secret store, dragging her hand across a couple of bras in a lovely pink shade that had caught her eye. She loved this store, and it was almost obvious that the store loved her too. They had a special student discount offer on this month, and considering she was a student, that was the best thing ever to her. [break][break] She picks up a set of underwear that she had decided was just perfect for her and hangs it on her gold bracelet whilst she moves to another part of the store, bumping into a familiar girl (Hanna). [break][break] "Oh, I'm so sorry!" She says, putting her hand on the girl's shoulder. "Hey, I know you!" She says with a small grin, adjusting her hair so that it hung just behind her ears. She was considering cutting it again, only not as short this time around. Growing it out had been a long and tiresome process that she didn't want to go through again if she cut it too short for her liking, so it was better to be safe than sorry.

I grunt. "Watch it." I say as my sunglasses drop on the ground. I pick them up instantly. "These are designer..." I say and pause as I wipe them with a little cloth in my bag. I flick my hair behind my ear and smile. "I think everyone knows me..I mean.." I say and point at her shoes "you are wearing an original HaShoe! Shoe."

Aspen laughs and shakes her head, knowing she probably didn't recognise her. She takes a hair tie from her bag and ties her hair up in a ponytail, her signature hairstyle from the days where she went to Mason. [break][break] "Darling, if you looked up at my face you'd realise who I really was." She tells her in a hintfully snide way, although not being intentionally rude in any way. She admired the fact that she had noticed her footwear, though, as it was her favourite pair of shoes.

Aspen laughs and nods, screaming along with her. It was great to see Hanna, and she wasn’t really surprised that they’d had met in Victoria’s Secret anyways. [break][break] “Yes, yes, it is I. I’ve returned to steal back the Mason crown.” She says with a grin, thinking of the times back in high school where they had so much fun. High school had been the best years of her life, where she had flourished truly.

Aspen laughs, nodding as she looks down at her shoes. Jake had sent them to her as a sorry present, and although she didn’t express her gratitude, she absolutely loved them. [break][break] “Yeah, I love them too! They’re, like, my favourite pair.” She tells her, holding her feet at an angle to get a good look at them. They were an amazing pair of shoes, and she wasn’t going to hide it- she really did love wearing them, although she never quite knew when. It seemed like today was a good day to put them on.
