Jesse Thompson grew up in the beautiful city of Manchester and attended several schools whilst there. He migrated from high school to high school mostly, either because he disliked the teachers there or struggled to make friends. It's always been that way in his life- he's always been the outsider, the one who everyone just ignored. And I guess he grew used to it, because it meant he had more time to himself to study and became qualified enough to teach. He's only taught at one school but moved to Mason Town when his elderly parents decided to relocate, and so took a music teacher position at Mason High. His classroom rules are extremely basic, and instead of telling the class to be quiet, he tells them to make as much noise as they like- so long as it's noise in the form of music.
Jesse decided to teach music after developing a passion for the guitar as a young teen. He enjoyed to play complicated tunes, things that most of his peers were amazed by. As well as being shunned by the general society of teenagers, he was shunned by the music geeks as he was classed as too modern for them. This gave him more time to focus on getting good grades in music and mastering the instrument he was ever so passionate about. He even managed to hum a decent tune along to it, although he refused to sing as he insisted that he couldn't sing. He always wrote songs in hope that one day he would start a band, though.
