Skyler pulls up in his silver Lamborghini, which he was probably not going to use for a couple of months after this small encounter, and walks up to the door, knocking on it lightly. He slides his phone into his pocket, which he had just used to post a graduation photograph from earlier, and waits patiently to be invited inside.

Skyler smiles and enters the house, looking around and admiring the interior. It was a very nice house, and extremely different from his. He looks at Destiny and shoots her a gentle smile. [break][break] “Hey.” He says, hoping that he wasn’t going to be there too long. He really had to go, but it was good to see Destiny beforehand. He thought about what he was going tonight again and smiled to himself, not actually being able to believe that it was finally happening.

Aalayh gets in after collecting her diploma from the council, throwing her keys on the table and setting the piece of paper down beside it. "I'm back!" She shouts up, wondering what to do now. Maybe she should book a holiday this summer, and get away from this town. Maybe she'd just lay around at home. She shrugs and runs up the stairs to her bedroom, opening up her laptop screen to check through her feeds. She sees several posts about some boys around her age who'd gone missing last night, and starts to search through their profiles. She knew one of them, the boy named Skyler. He'd gone to Berkeley with her before it had shut down, and after that all she'd seen of him was his rising internet fame. Now it just seemed as if he'd had the exact same thoughts as she had- getting out of this place. She decides to ask her sister if she'd heard anything about it.
"Des?" She shouts down the hall. "Do you know anything about these missing boys?"

i'm assuming that this is pre-summer then. cool shiz.
danny slams the door behind him as he gets in from school, and his nose was bloody from the beating he'd received on the way home. he runs into the downstairs bathroom, running the tap and splashing water over his face. his shirt was stained, but that didn't matter to him. when the flow of blood had stopped, he shut the tap off and pulled his shirt off, running into the utility room and hiding it at the bottom of the washing pile. he knew that his parents should know about this, or at least one of his siblings, but it scared him what could happen after.

"get the scissors from my bottom drawer and come with me." she says, heading to the bathroom to find their father's baseball bat, which he kept tucked behind the cabinet for emergencies. she starts to creep down the stairs quietly.
