Jiyoung ate the last bit of her pizza, looking out of the window and sighing quietly at the silence that had fallen upon them. She knew Seok felt awkward, and she was starting to accept that they probably wouldn't go on a second date. Nonetheless, she had enjoyed her time out.
"How was your food?" She asked.

Seok looked down at his empty plate and shrugged.
"It was nice. I had a nice evening." He said, smiling. "I paid earlier. Thank you for coming."

Jiyoung nodded, agreeing with how nice the evening had been.
"Oh, thank you for paying." She said. "I know this won't be happening again, but thank you for your effort. I really did have a nice time."

Seok smiled, standing up from the table. He knew as well that it hadn't really gone like he'd hoped, but he still enjoyed the time.
"I'll see you at school, I guess." He said.

"Yeah, see you later." She said, heading for the door and walking in the direction of her home. Well, that didn't go too badly.

Seok waved her goodbye and left the restaurant himself, walking in the opposite direction towards his and his friends' apartment. Well, at least he picked up some skills for dates.
