Mr Hope drove slowly through the car park, parking his car next to Levi's and opening the door for everyone. There was no denying it- he was getting older, and his eyesight was beginning to give in.

Ella walks out of the airport with her suitcase in tow, a Starbucks in one hand that she was sipping away at and her passport in the other. She joins with the rest of the family. She hadn't met any of the other kids before, apart from maybe Levi once or twice.
"I swear, that was the worst flight of my life." She says, huffing. "There's more of you than I pictured."

Charlie got out of Levi's car as Ella said this. He looked at her oddly.
"Yeah, and who are you?" He asked. He hadn't seen the girl before, apart from maybe... When he snooped in the family albums.

I take my phone out of my pocket and raise an eyebrow at the girl that just arrived. Great, a brat to carry along on the vacation. Couldn't mum and dad wait? I look down at my phone and laugh under my breath at Charlie's words.
"Gee Charlie, you could at least try to be nice." I say scrolling through my instagram feed.

"It's a long story but I'll leave it on the fact that I'm Hope as much as the rest of you." She says, rolling her eyes. Her dad's side of the family already seemed a lot more interesting and... diverse, should she say, than her mother's.

Danny's headphones were in, his hoodie pulled up to shadow over his face. He was having one of his bad days, and his eyes were red and puffy. His left hand hid in his pocket as he dragged his suitcase with his right.

Levi rolled his eyes and decided to intervene.
"Look, stop being absolute dickwads to each other and maybe we can play the name game or something whilst we're going through security." He suggested, raising his eyebrows. He'd met Ella before, but it was well before he had even contemplated joining the marines.
