The family room is a large, open space where the entire family gathers in the evening to eat and watch television before retreating to their rooms. All internet access is forbidden during this time as their parents believe it is important to have family time every day.

Beca shuffles into the family room, taking a seat at the far end of one of the sofas and sitting there nervously. She had dressed in a loose t-shirt and some jeans. She had something to tell her family, something that was burning deep inside her, and it worried her what their reactions would be. This family had a lot of drama within it already, maybe because there were so many children, and she didn't want to add to it.

Danny walked in after Beca, knowing what she planned to do today, and squeezed her shoulder gently, smiling at her warmly. He knew it was a big thing for her.
"Good luck, okay? I'm always here for you." He told her, before going to sit across the room on the floor, where he usually sat.

Charlie walked into the family room after his evening smoke break down the bottom of the garden and smiled at his siblings. His parents were extremely anti-smoking, and so he had to hide whenever he took a break.
"Can you smell it?" He asks them. He trusted Danny and Beca not to rat him out.

I walk in with my high ponytail swinging and my phone in my hand. I take a look at everyone and smile at them. "Hello everybody" i say and sit down, texting. I look at Charlie. "Have you been smoking? " i ask, hoping he wouldn't snap at me. Being the youngest here is not easy.

Danny bites down on his lower lip hard as Charlie walked into the room.
"That's a bad habit, Char." He says, pinching his nose. He decided to slip his headphones in for the short amount of time he had before his parents joined them.

Tess had just recently moved in with her mom full-time after spending most of her time with her dad, and was not really used to being around so many kids. She walked into the room, smiling at them all, and sitting down.

"Let's hope mom and dad have gone nose blind, then." He says, then looking at Destiny. "Yes, and I wouldn't mind if you kept it quiet."
He shoots her a quick, friendly smile.

Tess smiled. Her step siblings on her dad's side were much younger and honestly a lot less fun to be around, which is why her parents ultimately decided that she should move in with her mom. There was always something interesting going on around here, and they were more her age, too.
"How old did you say you were, Charlie?" She asked.

I shake my head at Charlie. "Fine." I have always been a little intimidated by him, but he could pass as my favourite brother. Plus, most of my friends found him painfully attractive.

Willow walks into the room and tries to ignore the terrible aroma of tobacco, placing herself next to Tess and slinging an arm around her. She knew Tess was having a lot harder time than she was settling into their mom's house, but Destiny was here and the other kids didn't seem so bad.
"Just chill," She tells her with a smile, "I'll take you out tomorrow. New house, new style, right?"

Levi rather enjoyed being the second oldest child in the family, especially because it meant he didn't have to abide by any of his parent's stupid rules. He also liked being a sort of information point for his younger siblings, seeing as his older brother, Adam, tried to stay out of their way. He walked into the room, sort of glad to be home this evening as it felt as if a lot was going to happen, and sat in the middle of the floor. As unbelievable as it felt, because there were already lots of children when he lived here, there were more kids than he remembered. Probably his dad's new wife's.
"What's the craic, people?" He asked, resting his head on his hands.
