every year, residents of mason gather around the town centre's christmas tree to see the lights turn on at the turn of the clock between december 24 and december 25. kisses under the mistletoe, presents being open and bright eyes. merry christmas all!

skyler yawns as he makes his way to the centre of the town, having taken a nap before he came to make sure he was well awake. all's he had done since he finished high school was eat, sleep, rave, smoke and road trip, and it had proven extremely tiring. now that the tour dates had been announced, he couldn't wait to get back on the road.

I hop out of the car that my mother hired for me. I take of my sunglasses and take in a long deep breath. I let it out and walk towards the tree with my phone in my hand. Holding up my phone, I snap a few pictures, before sitting on a bench and texting.

OOC Steven had to be here for Christmas! + I'll be a bit more active now I'm @ school again.
Steven walks into the town square after having stepped off the train just minutes before. His family had moved to the next town after he had finished school at the start of the summer, but Steven still felt like an important part of Mason, and there were still quite a few people here that meant a lot to him. He looks over the town center, and the first person to catch his eye is Destiny. He had talked to Destiny a lot in his Senior year, but now that he had graduated it felt as though their little thing had gone away. And so he walks up behind her, poking his head over her shoulder. "Hi." He says quietly, smiling gently.

I look at Steven, with a little freight and then sighing with relief after noticing his face. I smile. "Hey you. Where have you been?" I say and switch my phone off.

Steven shrugs, thinking back over everything he'd done since he graduated. "After graduation, and after I ran away, my parents decided to downsize slightly, in the next town, so I've been spending a load of time there. Oh, and I've been busy at work, I guess. How've you been doing?" He asks.

Steven laughs. "Yeah, the next town. There was a smaller house there, so they bought it." He says with a shrug. "And that's sweet, but I'm sure the teachers are having a better time." He says with a chuckle.
