Skyler opens his eyes, stretching his arms out and yawning. Wow, he felt quite awake. He watches the entrance to the hotel quite intently, seeing through the glass doors a little lounge with people in, although he couldn't quite make out what they looked like. He hoped Ri was one of them.

Orion had been resting along a couple of chairs in the lobby, but was woken by the sound of Steven's Jeep honking at him in the dark. He checked his phone for the time and rolled his eyes as it was just past 1am. He had expected them around this time. He picks up his suitcase and throws his backpack over his shoulder, carrying his guitar in his spare hand. So maybe he had over-packed a little.
He waved goodbye to the women behind the desk who had allowed him to stay in their lobby for a small fee of $10, and walked out of the sliding doors to Steven's Jeep, where he put his belongings in the back before jumping in himself. He knew he would have to sit in the back anyways, and was actually looking forward to it.
"All set?" He asked the boys in the front. He felt sorry for them, as they had been driving all night.

Skyler had just been sat there, waiting for Orion to come, and now he was here he was sure he had to do something. Aha! He was driving to Vegas from here. He shakes his head at Orion and opens his door, sliding out of the Jeep and knocking on the driver's side as to indicate for Steven to get out.

Steven watches as Skyler gets out of the Jeep and knocks on his door. Of course! It was Skyler's turn to drive. He opens the door wide and steps out, dropping the keys in Skyler's palm and making his way around to climb into the passenger's seat. He looks back at Ri and nods.

After setting the car up so that it was comfortable to drive in, Skyler starts up the engine. He nods at the other two boys and smiles.
"Let's go." He says, before beginning to drive, out of the parking lot and back onto the freeway that they had been on only quarter of an hour ago. The next time they would be diverting off the freeway, they'd be in Las Vegas.

Orion had fallen asleep in the back of the Jeep, laying on top of his guitar in an extremely awkward position. He sat up and watched as they drove through a little arch that said "Welcome to Las Vegas" before entering a stacked up parking lot. He blinked and looked around again, realising that they had just pulled into the airport in Las Vegas.

Skyler yawns and tries to find a parking space quite quickly, desperately wanting to get out of the car and stretch his legs. He finally finds a spot on the third floor, and parks the Jeep in it. He taps on the steering wheel loudly.
"Alright, everyone up! We need to get through security." He tells them, before jumping out the car. "I'll go get the parking ticket. You dudes unload the back and make sure you either eat any leftovers or pack them up properly."

Orion nodded, sliding his phone out from his pocket and checking the time. 5am. He had been gone from home for almost 14 hours, and wondered if anyone had noticed that he wasn't back yet. They probably hadn't, anyways. Nobody ever did.
He started emptying the used food packets and cans into the plastic bag he'd brought his own food in, and began to laugh as he realised just how much they'd eaten collectively. It was to be an expensive month. He then gathers all the uneaten food in Skyler's box, which totalled to 3 Hershey's bars, 5 Monster energy cans, a bag of Haribo sweets, some Twinkies and a cereal bar. He puts the Haribos, a Hershey's bar and a Monster energy into his backpack, which would get him through the flight without having to buy any airplane food. Ew.

Skyler joins the small queue for the parking tickets, holding his card in his hand as he waited. As soon as he got to the machine, he looked at the options for payment. How long would they be gone? A small trip was 7 days or less, but he knew they'd want longer to roam around New York, and so he clicks on Prolonged Trip, closing his eyes as it took $78 from his account. He takes the ticket and his card from the machine and skips back over to the Jeep, sticking it in the window for any wardens to see.
"Alright, we're good to go with the car." He tells them, before looking at the food that was left over. He takes a Hershey's, a couple of Monsters, the Twinkies and cereal bar. He was really hungry, but he hadn't realised until now. He stuffs them in one of his backpacks- the one with his skateboard and a couple of other things that he'd need on the plane. He then slings it over his shoulder along with his other belongings. He was set to go.

Steven had packed quite lightly, however he didn't really need much stuff as he could always buy new things in NY. He jumps out of the car, taking the food that the boys hadn't claimed and placing them in his hand luggage. He takes out his small suitcase from the back of the Jeep and admires the car without all of their bags in. He wouldn't be seeing it for quite a while, now. "Alright, have we got everything?" He asks, standing back from the vehicle.

Orion checked through his backpack, putting his passport and boarding pass in one of the compartments. "Yup, I'm sorted." He confirmed, feeling the excitement finally hit him right in the chest. This was going to be the best experience of his life.

Skyler already had his passport, boarding pass and a little bit of money in a separate zip compartment from everything else, and so nods when Steven asks if everything was set. He could feel his heart pounding against his chest, and his blood running around his veins in a total frenzy. He was scared for his parents' reaction, but also excited to be going away. He never really went on holidays anymore.
"Yeah, shall we check in?" He asks, standing on the side of the road in the parking lot. He could see that the actual terminal was only a little walk away.

Steven clicks his fingers and begins walking towards the actual airport, following the little pathway from the parking lot. His hands were shaking with anticipation, and so he walks a little faster, holding the door open for the boys when he reaches the building.

Skyler takes out his skateboard, a small, blue Penny board with sparkling galaxy wheels. He steps onto it and skates over to the terminal, passing smoothly through the door that Steven was holding open and stopping as he reaches the check-in desks, waiting for the others to join him. Was it possible for excitement to kill you? Because if so, Skyler was hanging right off the edge.
